Geography
The Humanities curriculum aims to cultivate curious, empathetic and critically engaged learners who understand their place in a complex, interconnected world. Through the disciplines of Citizenship, Geography, History and Religious Studies, we seek to empower students with the knowledge, skills and values needed to navigate society with confidence and integrity.

Through Humanities, students explore the world intellectually, ethically and socially, developing the ability to think deeply, speak purposefully, and act responsibly.
Geography has the power to inspire and equip young people with the knowledge and understanding to make sense of an ever-changing world. Students develop a deeper understanding of both human and physical processes, exploring the relationships between people, places and environments at local, national and global scales. They build skills in analysing data, interpreting maps, evaluating evidence and drawing well-reasoned conclusions about complex geographical issues. Geography also encourages students to think critically about challenges such as climate change, urbanisation and resource management, while developing the fieldwork enquiry, research and decision-making skills that are highly valued in higher education and the workplace.
