Headteacher's Welcome

We are delighted to welcome you to Everest Community Academy. Our school is an integral part of our local community and together we will ensure Everest is a school we are all proud of. Our core values - aspire, enrich, belong - guide everything we do, every day. We are unashamedly focused on achieving the best educational outcomes for our students. We are determined to be the school of choice for parents and students in the local area, and to be recognised as a school that values each member of our community.

Aspire

At Everest, our overarching intent is to open doors for all our students as we unapologetically pursue the best outcomes for all our students. We achieve this through a broad and balanced curriculum that sparks curiosity, elevates aspirations, and nurtures a lifelong love for learning. Our commitment extends beyond academic excellence; we aim to empower students socially and emotionally as well.

We prepare our students for the future by equipping them with essential skills. Whether they choose higher education, vocational training, or employment, we ensure they have a clear path ahead.

Enrich

Enrichment goes beyond academics. It encompasses experiences, skills, and personal development. At Everest, we believe in providing opportunities that enrich students’ lives—whether through extracurricular activities, cultural exposure, or character-building opportunities.

Belong

Belonging matters. Our curriculum promotes inclusivity and celebrates diversity in all its forms. Across subject areas, we help students appreciate different perspectives and build compassion for others. Our school community values each voice, providing a safe space for expression.

We welcome visits from students and parents and would encourage you to contact the school office by email to info@Everestcommunityacademy.org, or by telephone on 01256 961330 to arrange a visit. Our staff and students will be happy to show you around and answer any questions you may have about our school. We hope this has given you a sense of Everest Community Academy and the immense pride we have in our school. By working in partnership with all members of our community, we strive to inspire, enrich, and provide a nurturing environment where every student thrives.

Kind regards,

Alison Reid | Headteacher                                                  Penny Alford | Executive Headteacher
