At Everest Community Academy, Computing Science and Information Technology deliver much needed vital skills for the fast evolving digital society. All students have the right to deep learning experiences across the key aspects of Computing. Our aim is to attract the number of girls choosing to take the qualifications at GCSE Level.
We encourage students to be confident and responsible users of new technologies and understand how to be safe while using them. There are cross curricular links with Maths, Science, Design Technology and algorithmic thinking. This provides students with insight into both natural and artificial systems which improves their problem solving, design, and creativity skills. They developed their ideas through, information technology. This leads students to be ready for the workplace to successfully joining the digital world.
